2019 SEASON
MAZDA SUPER SERIES
23rd & 24th March 2019 - Brands Hatch
Jake’s first race at Brands Hatch in the Mazda, having never raced the car before, he qualified in 17th position out of 24.
First lap of the first race, three cars in front of him crashed and he was unable to avoid one of the cars that spun in front of him. Contact was made, damaging front bumper, wing, drivers door, suspension, steering and brakes.
The car was patched up for the restart and Jake had to drive round at approx. 50mph to finish the race to get his signature for his International Licence.
Race 2 on Sunday, Jake started at the rear of the field, finishing 9th.
Race 3 on Sunday, he started in 9th and finished in 10th position due to trouble with his steering.
CATERHAM SEVEN 310R
6th & 7th April 2019 - Silverstone
The first time that Jake has driven a 310R in a race and again the first time that he has raced at Silverstone. 39 cars on the field and he qualified 22nd and finished 17th.
Second race on Sunday, started 17th, worked his way up to sixth about to make a move on number 5 when he was touched on the rear corner, spun around and crashed into by a following car. Jake DNF due to damage on the car.
900 SUPERLITES
20th & 21st April 2019 - Three Sisters Circuit
First weekend at Three Sisters, Jake qualified on Pole. On the first race on Sunday, third lap the car’s fuel pump packed up, meaning Jake DNF.
Race 2 Jake had to start right at the back of the field, very aggressively, worked his way up to 2nd Place.
Race 3, Jake went from 2nd place to 1st, despite having lost 4th gear half way through the race.
CATERHAM SEVEN 310R
4th & 5th May 2019
This was the first time that Jake had raced at Croft.
Race 1; Jake qualified in 19th position out of 32 car. He finished in 12th position.
Race 2; Jake started in 12th position. He made his way up to 10th place, then spun out and was back to 20th. He managed to finished in 17th position.
MAZDA SUPER SERIES
11th & 12th May 2019 - Cadwell Park
Jakes first time at Cadwell Park and he qualified in 7th position.
Race 6 - Jake finished in 7th place.
Race 14 - Jake finished in 7th place.
Race 22 - Jake finished in 7th place.
900 SUPERLITES
18th & 19th May 2019 - Teesside
This weekend saw Jake race at one of his favourite tracks.
He qualified with the fastest lap of the weekend.
Race 1 - Jake started in first place and finished with a win
Race 2 - Jake finished in first place
Race 3 - Jake finished with another win
CATERHAM SEVEN 310R
1st June 2019 - Oulton Park
This was Jakes first time racing at Oulton Park. He qualified in 24th place out of 38 cars.
Race 1 saw him finish in 14th place.
Race 2 he moved up the field to 6th position and then unfortunately, he had a problem with his nose cone and ended up finishing in 10th place.
CATERRHAM SEVEN 310 R
29th & 30th June 2019 - Snetterton
Jake qualified in 18th position out of 36 qualifiers.
Race 1 - He worked his way up from 18th to finish 12th.
Race 2 - He started in 12th position and moved through the field to 5th place, finally finishing 8th.

20th & 21st July 2019 - Spa Belgium
This was Jake's first time racing at Spa and he qualified in 16th out of 43 cars.
Race 1 - He worked his way up through the pack and made it into 9th place.
Race 2 - Starting off in 9th place, Jake fought hard and was up into 5th place, when there was an accident in front of him that he was unable to avoid and he ended up with a DNF.
CATERHAM SEVEN 310R
17th & 18th August 2019 - Donnington Park
Jake qualified in 11th position out of 34, even though it was his first time racing at this track.
The first race was red flagged after an accident and Jake finished in 14th place.
The second race on Sunday worked his way up to 13th position.
SUPERLITES 900
7th & 8th September 2019 - Teesside
Saturday 7th September 2019
Qualified 2nd after being away from the Superlites for a couple of rounds.
Race 1 - Finished 2nd after some close racing.
Race 2 - Started and finished in 2nd place, again with some close racing.
Race 3 - Finished 2nd
Sunday 8th September 2019
Qualified in Pole position.
Race 1 - Started in pole position, ended up loosing 3rd and 4th gear but carried on to finish in 3rd place.
Race 2 - Started in third place and worked his way up to 1st place.
Race 3 - Started and finished in 1st Place.
CATERHAM SEVEN 310R
28th & 29th September 2019
What a weekend!
Jake qualified in 6th place.
Race 1 - He made his way up into 5th position and after some tight racing with another racer, Jake crossed half a cars length behind in 6th place.
Race 2 - This race was started in wet conditions - Jake started in 6th and after a great tussel moved up into 3rd. Unfortunately, due to a safety car being deployed, Jake was boxed in by a back marker and when the safety car came in, he was overtaken and ended up finishing in 4th place.
Finished in 6th position in the championship out of 44 drivers - AMAZING FIRST SEASON, having never driven a Caterham before or raced at those circuits, apart from Brands Hatch.
900 SUPERLITES
2nd & 3rd November 2019
The last race weekend of the season. Managed to start the weekend off with pole position. In the first race we started and finished in 1st place.
2nd race again, started and finished in first place.
3rd race - HAT TRICK!
The only disappointment is that we missed 4 of the 9 rounds this season.
